Consulting Services

At times, even the most established medical practices have questions crop up, require staff training for updated billing regulations and practices, or are looking for insight on ways they can improve the efficiency of their practice. With nearly 20 years of medical office, billing, administrative and financial services experience, our team of knowledgeable professionals are always eager to assist practices and practitioners in improving in ways that will better serve the beloved members of our communities.

Medical Billing

Accuracy and efficiency are the two most essential components to successful, cost effective, error-free billing. Our team is committed to staying educated and informed on the new billing and coding regulations and guidelines, as well as proactively communicating with our clients about these changes and any clarification needed prior to billing out claims. Doing so allows us to consistently provide accurate, compliant, cost effective billing services.

Practice Closure Support

So you're ready to retire? Maybe it is time to move on to bigger things professionally? Perhaps you've decided to move your practice closer to family? Great! Like most things, it, unfortunately, is not as simple as informing your patients and closing the doors. There are steps to take, legal and regulatory requirements to abide for patient notification, payer notification, records management and retention, revenue cycle completion and claims finalization, to name a few. But this process doesn't have to be stressful and our team is ready to lend a supportive and helping hand when the time comes to take down your shingle.

New Practice Support

As with starting any new business, starting a new medical practice is an exciting and complex process. Having a knowledgeable team of supportive professionals to tackle tasks like staff licensing, credentialing for the practice and practitioners, navigating rate setting to reflect industry standard, drafting functional patient forms and regulatory signage, and if you chose to bill in-house, helping you select a supportive billing system and training staff can really help ease some the burden. With the goal of helping you to feel confident you are ready to begin your new journey on the right foot.

Credentialing and Contracting

Group practices and individual practitioners must submit applications with individual insurance providers in order to be authorized to receive reimbursements from them, and re-credentialing is required for many private insurance companies annually. This process can take 90 days or more and at times can require follow-up and documentation requests. Having a dedicated team to complete and track this process for you and your staff is essential to ensuring you are paid for your services without delay or interruption.

Audit and Audit Support

The word AUDIT comes with its fair share of nerve wracking discomfort. Nevertheless, it is a necessary process to maintain checks and balances in the healthcare industry. To soothe some of the uneasiness around the potential for a formal insurance audit, we always recommend performing monthly billing reviews, as well as annual internal audits of your billing, health records and patient charts. By doing so, this allows you to identify and correct errors that may potentially flag an audit, and provide training or update processes and procedures as necessary.
